This example demonstrates the chart responding to data updates. Each time the 'update' button is clicked:

• the data is randomised
• the data is re-joined to the chart container
• the chart function is re-invoked

The update function is as simple as:

function update() {
  initData(); // Randomises the data

  d3.select('#chart')
    .datum(data)
    .call(chart);
}
